Condition:  Very good - it is in lovely condition complete with dust jacket. Just a little light wear and tear to the edges of the dusk jacket but generally really nice. 

I am no expert on dating, but have used the wonderful resource available on Helen Day's website Fly Away Home and believe this book is from early to mid 1960s.
