Lovely vintage book from the Blackberry Farm series by Jane Pilgrim. 

In this little story, Postman Joe is made aware of a new arrival at the farm "...a Large Red Animal crawling up the lane breathing out smoke". The large red animal is in fact a tractor and it is up to Postman Joe to share the news with the all the other animals. 

A great little story for any tractor fans out there!

I am unsure of it's age as I cannot find a date inside but the pre-decimal price tells us it is likely 1960s.

Condition: Fair - the book shows its age with some scuffs to spine / corners and age marks inside, but is still a lovely little thing.
