Lovely vintage Ladybird book

'The Gingerbread Boy' from the Ladybird series 606D, the Well-loved Tales retellings of classic fairy tales and stories.

Retold by Vera Southgate, illustrations by Robert Lumley 

Condition: Fair - some scuffing to edges and board cover slightly warped, back cover shows its age (it's the unforgiving yellow background!) but generally neat and clean inside. There is a sticker inside the front cover (see photo). 

I am no expert but having used the wonderful resource available on Helen Day's website Fly Away Home I believe this book dates from mid-late 1970s.
